“I create melancholic dreamscapes that meander between time and space through digital narratives. By occupying this expanse between the analog and the digital, I seek to create encounters with the sublime.”

..This happens sometimes, I can no longer discern between reality and its parasitic fictions. I think it was the book that I read, not the film. No soundtrack here. Books don’t usually use such a device. No music leaves you closer to actual emotions. No frequencies to it, less chance of fracture...

Home Sweet Home

This animation, developed during the pandemic, reflects a period  spent in isolation and contradictory emotions felt at the time. While ultimately finding serenity in this isolated state, I  still longed for physical connections and human contact.

My Morning Breakfast

This piece was created by focusing on formal elements rather than narrative, and juxtaposing unrelated situations within a temporal framework as a way of examining language in isolation from external context and meaning. Through this exploration of semiotics, the artist aims to examine the ways in which language and other symbols are used to communicate meaning and convey understanding.

Welcome to the Future You Lousy Bicycle

"In this scene from the film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, actor Robert Redford as the Sundance Kid exclaims, 'Welcome to the future, you lousy bicycle!' I replaced the found sound from a Portuguese language course enunciating the word 'bicicleta.' This scene mirrors our current technological apprehensions in the landscape of AI."

Corals

Living close to the ocean I’ve notice the decolorization of corals. In this short I wanted to reclaim albeit through a digital rendering, their mesmerizing colors as a memento of what was and what can possibly be rescued.
